Creative Business Cards
This is a reading about business cards.
You will do it in groups of 2-4.
(For online teaching, you can do this alone).
Click HERE for the short version of the tasksheet. Print it.
Click HERE for the PDF that shows the creative business cards.
After you finish, click HERE for a PowerPoint that shows the correct answers.
Now make your own creative business card. Your teacher will tell you how to share it with the other students.
You don't need the rest of these for the online version of this lesson.
Click HERE for the long version of the tasksheet. Print it.
Click HERE for the main website.
After you've done the main task, want to watch a 2-minute video of them with subtitles? Click HERE.
Click HERE for the "Finished? Want to learn more?" website.
Finally HERE is a PowerPoint to have students make their own business cards and practice an "introducing yourself" conversation. It includes "handshakes" (not to do a "dead fish" or a handshake that lasts forever. By the way, the answer to "what's she doing wrong" with her bow at the beginning is that her right hand is on top. In traditional Japanese etiquette, the left hand is on top. This goes back to samurai days when the left hand blocked the stronger, sword-wielding right hand.
